If you are thinking about trying alkaline water I highly recommend it. I believe the propaganda that conflicts with the modern way we think about how and why our bodies store fat.
There is a lot involved but to shorten up this rant on alkaline water we have to understand a couple of things. Our moms told us to ear our vegetables for a reason. If you want to be lean and mean you have to eat vegetables and find ways to cook them so they actually taste good.
Someone else is probably already handled that pretty well. What I have come to understand is that we should be as concerned or concerned at all for that matter about how many calories we eat. Instead we should be concerned about the amount of acid we intake in our food. Our body is balanced naturally but it’s oxidizing like an old car just a lot slower than and old Buick sitting in a lot somewhere. That’s why anti-oxidants become important to have in your food and water. It’s like waxing the car so it lasts longer and looks better longer. The presence of these molecules makes the water alkaline which has other benefits as well. Soapy water is alkaline. Since the body is balance at 7.3 or 7.4 PH that means that you need eat food in way that allows your body to manage that.
Everyone is different but essentially your body needs food to maintain balance PH state slightly alkaline. However I found with myself almost everything I was eating was an ACID even if it was fat free and calorie free. The reason why we are not all dead already from this sensitive balance the body maintains perfectly at all times is because the body can borrow minerals from other sources to maintain the blood’s PH. It borrows what it from your bones and organs. If your bloods PH changes even in the slightest way we would surely die. It also can store this ACID in fat cells called brown fat verses white fat.
I think the idea of fancy water seems absurd. I have lost 9 pounds in 90 days while still eating plenty of food. In fact I think I am eating more food but I avoid acid foods. I really don’t even do that all the time. I drink 9.5 PH water from whole foods and I feel less anxious. If I could figure out how to eat 1\2 vegetables I believe that work as well. That is how the alkaline diet books explain it. One book which I won’t mention the title said you needed 2\3 vegetables to other products. Michelle Obama was in the news recently talking about adding vegetables to the diet. She recommended a slow and deliberate approach to work in more vegetables over time.
That’s a great way to approach it but I would also add learn ways to cook vegetables or dishes you make already were you could add more vegetables of a variety of colors. If you are thinking about trying the water or hydrogen stick it’s like an extra bonus. If you’re skeptical then buy some PH strips and test your urine and saliva. It’s it less than a 6.5 then you might want to think about the balance of your body. Apparently your Western doctor isn’t going to ask have you checked until a very serious problem occurs. I believe in time everyone will know that Alkaline water and eating increases the quality of living.
