Using VoodooCRM you can automate customer contact known as nurturing leads from the SFA days before CRM. Slowly nurturing leads over time is kind of like growing corn. When you grow corn you must water it, pull weeds and finally use some kind of pesticide when the corn. Finally grows you don’t end up with caterpillars eating your corn! With regards to leads you need to send useful, thoughtful information to your potential customers. If you call, email or fax specifications line sheets to potential customers eventually the list will narrow down to people actually interested in what you offer.
Once you build up your leads you need to be able to mine them with useful demographics data. Suggestions could be that you look at average income in a given area and other demographical data. Analyzing your current customers could allow you to with PERCISION only contact prospects who are a good fit based on demographic information. Imagine if you could weed out the people who are not a very good fit for your product and service. You don’t want to call them anymore than they want you calling them.
Finally a good CRM needs to protect business owners from having their leads stolen or emailed out of the organization. To protect the integrity of your list you can “salt” the list with several high profile FAKE leads and put your sister or someone’s you trust. You burry this lead and when your sis gets a call for Bob to buy something from a competitor you end up with the knowledge of at least knowing there has been a breech. Caterpillars eat corn, sales people steal leads. VoodooCRM can be customized to prevent users from exporting or having too much access to leads they don’t really need access to. Stealing is based in false thinking that there is not enough for everyone. Protecting what is yours is your right.
