If you are using Vista or Windows 7 and try to use the Linked-In or Facebook Outlook contact import to globally invite contacts to your linked-in page and Facebook profile it may very well fail. The way to address that is to use Internet Explorer but before attempting it Launch Internet Explorer as Administrator. You do that by right clicking on Internet Explorer and selecting Launch as Admin. You will need to install an Active X control before it will work, so watch for Internet Explorer information bar that will prompt you to install it. Happy Importing.
