Support

A first-person game set in first-century Judea. You carry no weapon and there is no attack button.

We read everything that arrives. Tell us your device (for example “iPhone 13” or “iPad Pro 11-inch”), your iOS version, and what happened. That is usually enough to find it.

What Apostle is

A first-person game set in first-century Judea. You carry no weapon and there is no attack button. Stones thrown at you can be received, caught at the right moment, and what you catch becomes Grace, which is spent putting people back on their feet.

Six rounds, offline, no accounts, no advertising, no in-app purchases.

Requirements

  • iPhone or iPad running iOS 15 or later
  • Landscape orientation
  • Roughly 400 MB of free space
  • No internet connection required at any point after installing

How to play

  • Walk. Drag anywhere on the left half of the screen.
  • Look. Drag on the right half. Both thumbs work at once.
  • Heal. Hold the large disc, bottom right, aimed at someone suffering. Keep holding until they rise.
  • Receive. When a stone is in the air toward you the small disc lights up. Tap it in that moment.
  • Rest. Stand near a waystone and Grace returns on its own.

The one-time lesson before the first round covers all of this. To see it again, use Settings → Reset the journey (this also erases your progress).

Common questions

There is no sound.
Check the mute bell in Control Center by swiping down from the top-right corner of the screen. Also check the volume buttons, and the Master and Music levels in the game’s own Settings. The game deliberately plays through silent mode, and mixes politely with music or a podcast you already had running.
The game is too hard / too easy.
Settings → THE ROAD changes the difficulty at any time, including mid-story.
I am stuck. I cannot find the last person to heal.
The gold arrow at the top of the screen points to the nearest one still waiting, with the distance beside it. Nothing in the game is ever unreachable; every round is verified as completable before it ships.
I was overwhelmed. Did I lose?
No. There is no death in Apostle. When fear fills, you wake at the last waystone you visited and continue.
Can I turn off the reminder notifications?
Yes. Settings → Reminders, or iOS Settings → Notifications → Apostle. Turning them off in the game also clears any already scheduled.
How do I erase my progress?
Settings → Reset the journey. It asks first. This clears unlocked rounds, scores, and the one-time intro and lesson flags.
Does the game collect any information about me?
No. Nothing is collected and nothing is transmitted. See the privacy policy.

Accessibility

The game is playable one-handed for looking and walking, has no timed text, and never requires a rapid button combination. Receiving a stone has a timing window; THE ROAD difficulty setting widens it. If something about the game is not workable for you, please write to us. We would rather know.

Credits

Full credits are in the game under Credits, including the third-party art and animation packs, and disclosure that the music and portions of the code were made with AI tools.
